Also, he would be viewed as “animal-like”.

On the other hand, he can also be seen as a Holy Innocent and be treated correctly.

He would also be labeled as a “defective” that needed to be eliminated from the society. He would be viewed as inferior. His rights as an individual would be denied. He would be exposed or killed. 

However, these treatments and views to people with disabilities have changed, infanticide was discontinued, and more humane practices happened as the New Testament presented Jesus being helpful to these persons.
