In the exposition we got introduced to the character Conor. Conor recently has been having these monster dreams and he just had another one but he woke up and the monster was calling his name. He looked out through the window outside and he saw that the tree was slowly turning into the monster. He was not scared of the monster and the monster would try to startle him and break his house but nothing. He woke up the next morning and nothing was there no damage no nothing. This section was about the 1st story the monster gave to Conor. The story was about a prince who fell in love with a farmers daughter. The queen did not like the idea of the price and the farmer girl to get married. The price and the girl decided to run away. When the prince woke up the farmers daughter was dead and there was blood everywhere and he had the knife. He told the villagers that the queen did this because she did already kill the King. The villagers believed him and then they went to the queens castle and burned it up. In the third tale the monster came to school to tell him the story. Conor was in the lunch room when he saw harry but he wanted harry to see him and the story was about Conor and the monster said about a man who was tired of being unseen. So while telling the story the monster was demonstrating what happend and he grabbed harry and started beating him up when really it was Conor doing all the work. The monster helped the man by helping him now being seen by others. Each tale incorporates with Conor's life experiences because in the first story, it was about a price who killed the farmers girl but blamed it all on the queen that all the villagers thought was a witch. All the villagers didn't like her and did not want her as queen so they burned down her castle while she was in it but the monster saves her. This related to Conor's experiences because when he was getting bullied by Harry he blamed it on Lily. The second tale related to Conor and his experiences because the parson only wanted the apothecary so he can heal his sick daughter. Until he actually needed him he never liked him or believed in what he did. This relates to Conor because the new medicine that his mom is taking has yew tree in it and Conor asked the yew tree for help and for him to save his mother. Conor does not want the tree in his life hes never nice to him and now he knows the yew tree can help his mother. In the third tale there is a man who is tired of being unseen and wants to been seen by others and the monster helps him get seen. This relates to Conor because Harry told Conor he could no longer see him and he wanted to be seen so the monster helped him get seen by the monster fighting Harry when it was really Conor. The movie is meeting and not meeting my expectations at the same time some things are different and some things are the same and how i expected it to be. What did not meet my expectations was like the mom she seemed less sick in the movie and in the book they mad her seem so sick and sad in the movie she was happy and she had hair. If I could revise/ re-cast one character it would be Lily. I would revise Lily's character in the movie because she was not in the movie i believe she should had been because i think she played apart in the story. Lily played as Conor's friend and basically only friend in the book. Lily relates the the 3rd tale because Conor blamed everything that happend at school about his mom on Lily. Lily was also there for Conor when no one else wasn't and she was an old friend of Conor.
