One of them includes when I went to India taking a leave from school in America, October, 25th, 2019. Of course, there needed to a ton of work which was necessary to complete, but there was always something called grades, which my parents were very strict about, in particular. Working very hard, I had set a goal that I will improve my grades to all A's by the next marking period. My ILA grade was a 0 while my math was a 13. I had no choice but to work hard and achieve my goal.

The example listed ties back to the theme since getting my grades back to what they were like before needed determination and hard work put into it. Without me being determined I probably couldn't have got as far as I did. A fixed mindset made me do that and get that far. As I said I valued my goal enough and also did my very best to achieve it even if it may be a simple matter as grades for some people, I took it seriously.

I was in Nimitz Elementary at that time. Unlike America, in India, you needed to learn two languages which included Hindi and Telugu, depending on which state you were in. Citizens there had to learn a 2nd language in which for me it was Hindi because I already knew how to speak in Telugu. Still, just like in Hindi, I didn't know how to read or write in that language. I had to learn both languages because there were tests and our grades can be affected. Working without limit, I had succeeded in learning the two languages and was fluent. But it just didn't fall out of the sky, I pushed myself very hard with my will of determination.

This relates  to the theme because for any individual who has been through this situation, without perseverance and a strong will to achieve and acknowledge what you want, is a hard concept to pass through and experience. I was focused on winning any medal that may be about academics or sports, etc. With hard work, I had won 2 medals and awards. Since I had shown a lot of perseverance and never gave up I had more than accomplished my goal and made everyone who has ever known me proud.

In this example, I had related it to my theme by being very focused on what I wanted and nothing else. Since I was very determined on fulfilling my wish I had done more than I thought I could.
