         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Solar Panels are made of photovoltaic cells (PV Cells) that convert sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity.<ul><li>Direct Currents are converted by an inverter to alternating currents (AC)&nbsp; electricity</li></ul></li><li>The AC electricity is sent from the inverter to your electrical panel, or breaker box,  so you can power all your electric needs like light or appliances.  </li></ul>]]></description>

They will need to state why it is important to use solar energy and why it will benefit all parties involved.<br>&nbsp;This will get students to design, engineering design, and use the information they learned to inform others of solar energy use in their product. They will work in groups to ask a question about solar panels, imagine a solution/product, design and create the product and inform us about it.<br><br></div>]]></description>
