It is a pretty reasonable theory as children of that stage are indeed very curious and like to explore objects by putting them in their mouths to better understand what they are. However, what Freud said about nail biting and being verbally abusive due to the improper development of the oral stage is kind of a stretch. I think that those habits are picked up along the way instead of materializing due to the oral stage

Makes sense because children, as they grow up, start exploring their bodies and finding the differences between people, often being the genital area. The weakness would be the Oedipus and Electra complexes, which seem very biased and solely based on his experience. They are very inaccurate and illogical at times.

people often do start developing and becoming aware of their sexual feelings during puberty, but the results of fixation don't necessarily need to be connected to that. there are a lot of factors which affect that. also makes it seem like that is all a 11+ year old focused on which is very weird

This stage makes sense, I agree that at this point, children start to acknowledge their body and the differences between male and female body parts, and explore their bodies, but the oepedius complex and electra complex is a bit odd, I get why he decided to come up with theory considering his personal life, but again its a generalization

it might make sense to have dormant sexual feelings because in the previous stage there was exploration of the body and there could be development of the feelings that would then show up during puberty, but I don't think most children do things that are subconsciously guided by these feelings for freud to thing it's mandatory for everyone to go through that stage

Also he says that children will have sexual feelings for the opposite sex parent which I think is not true at all. The child may have a stronger and closer relationship with the opposite sex parent but I don't think those feelings are sexual.
