As the underfloor heating is electric, elements are buried in the floor, they must not be covered or they will overheat, catch fire and then be permanently broken. So nothing flat bottomed such as furniture or insulating like rugs or beanbags can be placed on the heated floors.

There is a fan heater built into the island for extra heat. The On/Off and thermostat control for this is on the wall in the sitting room.

There are 2 electric immersion heaters for hot water.

The most economical one at the top of the tank is on the right. This is for everyday use.

The second for the bottom of the tank, is on the left. Can be used if you have guests staying and want to heat the whole tank to make sure it doesn't run out.

Stone Worktop

The stone worktop stains easily, so things like red wine and ink can leave a permanent mark. Please be careful to remove anything before it stains.

Also please avoid bleach based products on it. Only stone or glass cleaner.
