Albert Einstein seems to be the perfect person to talk about the atomic bomb, considering the fact that he came up with the idea of it. Einstein was one of the few scientists to urge President Roosevelt to allow the bombs to be made, and was also one of the few people to even know about them. He had extensive knowledge about what the bombs were capable of, and what they could potentially destroy.

"In such a case, conscientious and expert persons would be brought together and they would work out an intelligent plan to combat the plague. "

If a new disease were to break out, such as a new plague, Einstein is stating that scientists would get involved to try and find a cure. Scientists since the have came up with many medicines to combat new viruses. Einstein being a scientist himself, was correct in saying that they would work together to find cures for diseases.

Albert Einstein knew what he was talking about when he talks about people being blinded. He was a German citizen who had seen the effect of the war and Nazism on his fellow people. Einstein had seen first hand what people "blinded by passion" were like, and how they acted.

"The adaptation to warlike aims and activities has corrupted the mentality of man; as a result, intelligent, objective, and humane thinking has hardly any effect and is even suspected and persecuted as unpatriotic."

Albert Einstein was speaking of what was happening to the men during the war. He living during World War II let him see how barbaric and uncivilized men could be to one another. The men were no longer fighting for what was right, but for an inhuman idea.

Albert Einstein had seen people become consumed by passion while in Germany. He had seen Nazism and quest for more land be the main thing many of his fellow citizens were overwhelmed by. Einstein had witnessed how people reacted to, what was to the outside world, nationalistic views.

People being divided over ideas, and being separated from each other to where the cannot come to an agreement over and issue is what Einstein is saying is one of our greatest problems. He has seen this start a war, when the people who were viewed as lower were not to have a say in what went on in their own cities and countries, because they were kept from the people who were viewed as more respectable. Einstien saw this happen when Germany took part of Czechoslovakia and would not allow the Czechoslovakians to associate with the German people, causing political disagreements.

"What one party suggests officially is for that reason alone suspected and even made unacceptable to the other. Also behind all official negotiations stands - though veiled - the threat of naked power."

Einstein's view that if only one power was in control, the other parties would be come angry, or even hostile, towards the leading one. Again, he watch this happen with World War II, when the Nazi party in Germany was the sole party in control, only listening to their own ideas. The party refused to come to an agreement with anyone, and esentially became a threat.

Both Bill Nye and Ken Ham have studied for years on the topic of how the world came to be. Bill Nye is a scientist who studied evolution for many years, among other things. Ken Ham studied the Bible for years, and gives biblical information about creation. Both men demonstrate ethos by knowing a great deal a bout the topic in which they are discussing.

The shoe company Toms is well known for their efforts in giving other countries' children shoes for every shoe that is bought. Toms main goal it to prevent the spread of disease among these children by trying to stop them from getting infectious cuts on their feet. This ad shows ethos by letting us see that the shoes really do go to children in need, and that the company is not lying about that.
