         <description><![CDATA[<div>After doing some manual labor this morning at ST storage, I rounded out my day with some cardio. Went on a quick 2 mile run.  Reached 10K steps for the day. <br><br>Also, if you are looking for a wearable alternative, RunKeeper is an awesome app. I started using it for my 200 Mile challenge, I set the goal and due date and it tracked my progress. There is a free version (which I used and it was great), but you can upgrade to a paid account.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For my mental challenge, I did a 15 minute meditation using my Insight Timer app. I've developed a daily routine of meditation over the last year and a half and began it by doing many, many 30 day guided meditation challenges. They were extremely helpful in teaching me about meditation and getting me into the habit of making it a daily practice. Recently, I have started to explore unguided meditations-- that is, using the app to have a continual sound for 15 minutes with a bell to indicate when it begins and when it ends (this can be found in the 'timer' section of the app.) I strongly encourage everyone to check out the app as it's a great way to develop and strengthen a practice I think is extremely valuable.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I really enjoyed the fitmas challenge this year as it helped to put a few things into perspective for me.<br>#1 - Living a fit and happy life doesn't have to be "all or nothing".  It can start with small changes that fold into my every day life.<br>#2 - I need to drink more water.  I thought I was, but apparently, I'm not.<br>#3 - No matter how crazy things get, I have to make "me" time to focus on working out, eating better,  meditating, etc.  I need to make this commitment to myself.<br><br></div>]]></description>
