         <description><![CDATA[<p>"A <strong>global organization</strong> is any organization that competes outside its native country. <strong>Globalization</strong> is the process by which the exchange of goods, services, capital, technology, and knowledge across international borders becomes increasingly interconnected." The definition of Global Organization is in the required reading.</p><p>I learned about the three Key characteristics of Globalization.</p><ol><li><p>Political</p><p>When considering the global expansion of an organization you need to consider the political stance of the country. This will help you with knowing how to advertise your organization properly. </p></li><li><p>Economic</p><p>You must take into consideration the economic state of the country you are trying to expand your business.  If you use a common material you might suffer but if you use a less common material you will reap the benefits as it is sought after, supply and demand. </p></li><li><p>Cultural</p><p>You must also respect the culture of the country you are moving the business into. You may appear insensitive or offensive if you disregard or ignore the culture you may lose business or not succeed at all.  </p></li></ol>]]></description>

You take the data learned from the previous step factors and formulate it into solid goals. </p><p>Step 3:</p><p><strong>Strategic Implication</strong></p><p>Once you have cemented the goals you need to then execute them as well. "Recall a good plan is not enough- the right action will determine success or failure." This step is to decide which of those alternative decisions is the best alternative. </p></li><li><p>Select Best Alternative</p><p>• After all of the previous steps you must make a choice on which is the best decision maker. Creativity is the phase marked as the early development of an organization. </p><p>2) The second phase is direction, finding direction is a strong phase in growth, this phase will help organizations find the direction they wish to go in. </p><p>3) The third phase is delegation, this is when the management system is usually applied such as middle management, upper management, and lower management. </p><p>4) The fourth phase is coordination, being coordinated as an organization is highly important as you need to have similar goals for the organization to succeed.</p><p>5) The fifth phase is collaboration, this phase is the collaboration of the different employees to strengthen the organization.</p>]]></description>

This also is needed to find if there are any issues from previous times. </p></li></ul></li><li><p>Preliminary Phone Interviews</p><ul><li><p>The preliminary phone interview while not always done in this step is to make sure while the applicant may look good on paper they may show some flaws while on the phone. </p></li></ul></li><li><p>Face-to-face Interviews and Selection</p><ul><li><p>This is one of the most important steps, this step has multiple understands as well, such as. </p><ul><li><p>Planning and preparing, this step is important for the person interviewing the applicant, you must know about the applicant and the qualifications the applicant needs to meet to achieve the position. </p></li><li><p>Understanding the job, the person hiring the applicant must understand the job position the applicant is interviewing for. </p></li><li><p>Connecting with the applicant, a very important step is to make sure the applicant is at ease, most people when interviewing so make sure you connect and have a comfortable environment. </p></li><li><p>Active Listening, this step is when the person hiring the applicant must listen closely to everything the applicant says, following the questions as well as any other remarks. </p></li></ul></li></ul></li><li><p>The Job Offer</p><ul><li><p>This is the last step, this is when the applicant passes all of the needed application questions. Managers are more about having motivation and giving out orders toward an end goal, managers have more of a transactional relationship. Leadership is more about emotional appeal, and creating bonds. This speech was very heartfelt and very eye-opening about being a leader, he speaks about how being a leader is a way of life and everyone should desire to be one. He also mentions the consequences of not trying to go into any leadership position and settling for being a follower. This speech ties into this module by explaining a harder side to Leadership, you have to make rough decisions but you also need to work and fight to keep your position. </p>]]></description>

Something that stuck out to me was when he said "She said here how you do that, just shut up." this stuck out to me because the implication of not speaking during an interview never crossed my mind but it makes sense, this will let the applicant just speak without you intervening and you can see if there are any bad traits.  </p>]]></description>
