The ships names where  Santa Maria, the Pinta, and the Nina. On December Columbus landed on Hispaniola which Columbus thought was Japan. He established a colony with 39 mens. He was the first european explorer to reach the New World since the vikings set up a colonies in Greenland and Newfoundland in the 10 century.

The Boston Tea Party was an American political and mercantile protest by the Sons of Liberty in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 16, 1773. The Boston Tea Party was a raid that took place on the Boston Harbor, during which American colonists dumped shiploads of tea into the water to protest a British tax on tea. This event was important because it fueled the tension that had already begun between Britain and America.

This civil war is what the Mexicans call “The Mexican Revolution”. The reason for such a war was due to political turmoil. This turmoil was controlled by two revolutionaries, Emiliano Zapata, a man from the south of Mexico and Francisco "Pancho" Villa from the North. By 1911, the man behind the turmoil Porfirio Diaz, former dictator of Mexico gets overthrown, which gives President Francisco Madero power. Porfirio Diaz is best known for saying this famous quote, “Poor Mexico, so far from God and so close to the United States,”.
