Craig was in the US Navy for eight years from 9/6/01 through 09/04/09. He was stationed in San Diego for the duration of his service. During this time he went on four deployments and one hull swap 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, and the final in 2009. His job was a Boatswainmate Second Class which is considered a jack of all trades in the Navy. They are responsible for everything outside of the ship from painting and maintenance to duties like driving security boats RHIB and anchoring and towing. They are also responsible for firefighting on the ship and flight deck. During his service he was as on four different ships: Princeton, Denver, Juneau, and Benfold. Craig is Mrs Hamilton’s older brother and his whole family is so proud of his service.

Taryn joined the US Navy in February of 2019 as an Aviation Mechanic and went to “A” school in Pensacola, Florida. Her next duty station was at FRC in Virginia Beach, there she cross-rated into a Legalman and went to Newport, RI for schooling. She’s currently in Yokosuka, Japan working at the Defense Service Office. Taryn is a close friend to Mrs Hamilton and I’m so proud of her!!
