When have you experienced a 'milkshake' moment?

As a new teacher, I thought summers off would be the most amazing thing ever. I quickly discovered that I am far too type-A to sit around and do nothing. I "hired" a youth swim instructor teaching position at the YMCA to occupy myself.

What 'job' do you see your students requiring of you?

My students need me to help make them feel like successful individuals capable of graduating and obtaining a career.

Honestly, I hired the kids. Each week, I spotlight the top 3 most improved students and feature them on our class's webpage.
