Get To Know Google Slide

What did I learn about technology?

What did you learn about yourself when you participated in this project?

I was starting my google slide, I didn’t really know how to start it off, I just went ahead and made a textbox and wrote my name down. I was then starting my “Diamante Poem”. I was pretty confused on how on earth am I going to make that look like a diamond. Afterwards, I finished up my diamante poem, and then went to my video. I never knew about screencastify before. I have learned the many mechanics Screencastify has. I was so confused at my first video, but then I knew what I needed to do. As I was recording my slide, I learned lots of things of my personality. (not to mention how weird I look. I felt okay with it) I have learned that I am a perfectionist, and it isn’t that bad, I like to keep things neat which is nice!. (I have also learned to not really use face cam a lot)To wrap it up, this project was very fun for me to do, I really hope to have another project like this again. (Okay I’ll probably use face cam because I really had fun recording myself! Don’t count on it though.)

Best Day this Past Summer

I was now starting my Narrative writing, I have finished making my thinking map. Afterwards, I have started to learn about the 10 writing strategies. I have learned about the 5 P.I.Q’s (Personal Interview Questions) Green=Me-What do I do when this happened? Blue=Them-What did they do? Brown=Thoughts-What were your thoughts? Orange=Feelings-How did you feel? And Red=Sight-what did you see? (So that’s what they meant!) (Wouldn’t it just make more sense if Red was the “How you feel?”) I was so excited to write some examples of these! (When I went home I was like Undyne, I was so fired up! I wrote like 10 examples, and then went to drawing.) I enjoyed doing all of it! I have learned about my determined working fired up personality. (I was like “Yes! Finally finished! Now time to draw.”) Atlast, this writing for my best day of summer was awesome! I learned new things! This kind of makes me feel to be a teacher one day!

What is this “Response to Literature” you speak of?(That was me when I first heard of it) Okay, so “Response to Literature” is a paragraph about what you read. I have learned that RTL is the most important thing. I had lots of fun learning about “2 quotes as evidence” and more. I learned that I really love to read! I am hopeful to read more pages and write more RTLs!

I love Science! It’s my favorite subject! The Mystery Box was very fun! After a while my team has discovered that the shape inside was a rectangle, and it was located at the top. I have learned that teamwork is the most important thing. I enjoyed this project a lot! I have learned that I am very smart when it comes to science. I hope that if I “ever” become a teacher, I would be sure to this challenge! (don’t count on it)

I was at music class so I really didn't participate much in the project, but I did post it in Google Classroom. My group showed me the padlet, they finished before my arrival. I have learned that tikis are not tropical things they are the religion of the Pacific Northwest Tribe. I have learned that tikis have something to do something with spirits, and that my fear of tikis have gone away. I hope to do another padlet like this someday.
