I live in a small neighborhood with lots of wildlife. We are in walking distance of the Severn River which leads to the Chesapeake Bay. My older brother Stephen is 21 and he studies Government and Politics at UMD College Park. He is into sports and traveling and is very sharp in history and geography. My younger sister Elizabeth is 18 and attends UMBC currently studying Information Technology. She has a scholarship with NSA and hopes to continue working there throughout her career. I personally learn through experience. When I joined this amazing organization, I saw first hand what it was like to be in a developing country, while building a sustainable schoolhouse for the children in Villa Soleada. I also learned a lot about Honduran culture, the dangers of voluntourism, and about the children from the village.
