De acuerdo a esta investigación la música puede aumentar los niveles de productividad, fuerza y resistencia.

Hace ya algunos años que se confirmó que la música rápida y fuerte mejoraba el ejercicio óptimo, se aumentaba el paso, y se recorrían una mayor distancia sin cansarse tanto. En este estudio se demostraba cómo la música aumenta la presión para avanzar y alcanzar un mayor desempeño.

Las personas al hacer deporte con su música preferida o motivadora suelen adoptar las pisadas de acuerdo al ritmo de la canción que estén escuchando.

La música también puede ayudar a comenzar una actividad física y a mantener el ritmo mientras se realiza. Por eso ejercicios como remo o correr se benefician de escuchar un ritmo musical que entra por nuestros oídos y llega hasta la corteza motora suplementaria.
