Maxwell Food Centre is famous for its hainanese chicken rice, fish soup, and oyster cakes. Some popular stores are Maxwell Fuzhou Oyster Cake, Zhen Zhen Porridge, and China Street Fritters.
Lau Pa Sat hawker centre is famous for it’s Hainanese chicken rice, laksa and char kway teow. There are other dishes like Bak Kut Teh, Nasi Lemak, Wanton Noodles, and seafood delights.
Newton food centre is famous for their barbecue seafood. There are other stores like Newton Tian Xiang Big Prawn Noodle and Kwang Kee Teochew Fish Porridge and Heng Carrot Cake.

My favourite hawker centre is Yuhua Village Market and Food Centre.

I love this hawker centre as whenever i go there, i will always have a wide variety of different cuisines to choose from.

My grandmother also works there as one of the market produce stores and i visit this hawker centre regularly and never get tired of the food there.

It is located at 254 Jurong East St 24, Singapore 600254.

Visitors get to find all the local dishes here like roasted duck noodles, laksa, carrot cake, porridge, sambal stingray, nasi biryani and handmade noodles and it’s all good and affordable for everyone. There are also some Michelin food stores that serve really good food but there would be long queues for it.

Since it is also a neighbourhood market, once u step in the hawker centre, you will be greeted with the loud auntie and uncle loud chatters and the smell of fresh food everywhere.

Hawker cultures are hoped that there will be greater appreciation and recognition for our hawkers. Hawkers also prepare a wide variety of food for people which play an important role in serving people. I can play a part by eating at the hawker centres more frequently or encouraging other people or kids from another generation to eat at hawker centres more. Order only what we can finish to avoid food waste, always clean up the table after use and clear the trays so that the next user can have a clean and positive environment for consuming.
