Hi Chris,

Though we didn’t have many chances to work closely, I’ve always felt your steady presence behind the scenes, quietly ensuring my wellbeing as a scholar from the very first day I arrived in the UK. It’s truly been an honour to experience your leadership and coaching, which have made a lasting impact on me.

I will always cherish your warm and reassuring “welcome, good to see you again” at Tsudois - it made a difference every time. Saying goodbye is difficult, but

Thank you for sharing this news with us, though it is bittersweet, as your presence at Ashinaga will be deeply missed. Your dedication, kindness, and unwavering support since the very beginning of the UK office have left an indelible mark on all of us as Scholars. You’ve been more than just an Operations Manager; you’ve been a mentor, SRC, a cheerleader, and a vital part of our Ashinaga family.

While we are sad to see you go, I am truly moved by the love and commitment you’re showing your daughter. Family is everything, and the care you are giving her is a testament to the same compassion you’ve shown us all these years.

Please know that your belief in us and your words about being “the hope for Africa’s future” will stay with me as I strive to honor the mission you have helped uphold. I will carry your encouragement forward and continue to support Ashinaga’s work, knowing you’ll be cheering us on from afar.

Hey Chris

Ian here. Our journey started in 2018 with an introductory Skype call when I was in Uganda for Study camp. Few months later we met in London and you took us through an extensive excel sheet on money management.

Few years later, you became my SRT, helped me with my Ashinaga Proposal and now, the most difficult time in our path, time to bid each other farewell. It's funny we will both leave Ashinaga pretty much months a part with me graduating in July.

I wish you the best. May life bring forth good tidings, blessings and joy. May you never lack and always remember while it's nice to be important, it's way more important to be kind.

You are a good man and may the universe give you all the good things in return. All the Best.

What an amazing journey I have had with you Chris!

I learned a lot from you as my SRC and your encouraging words in my LDF calls boosted my confidence and made believe that there was a better version of myself that I needed to unlock. I just wanna say a huge thank you for your support as SRC and the work you did behind the scenes where we scholars don't get to see, but we know you were more than just as an SRC for us.

Thank you and I hope the next step is as exciting for you as I believe Ashinaga was. See you again, God knows when.
