In my opinion I think that light is the best type of energy.

Without mechanical energy, the Earth and the entire universe would not exist. I thought about it, and the Earth is formed by tectonic plates shifting, and since mechanical energy is created by any movement, without it, you wouldn't be reading this right now. It allows to breath, eat, and communicate.

In my opinion, wind energy is the best because it is renewable and it saves the environment. Also, it is the better then solar because on stormy days you will still get wind but not as much sunlight.
