Learning how to make and write down your opinion about a topic. Although there aren't many opinion essay in middle school (yet) knowing how to make a strong opinion is still very important and helpful for me.

My reading teacher helped me with my grammar school had a transition camp that helped me get prepared for middle like it helpec with lockers, how to get to class on time, and what to expected when going to middle school. Also verbs and adjectives, pronouns. I learned how to do conclusion and theme.

How to write notes that would later help us write factual essays. Also they taught me how to write a specific detailed personal narrative of a special event in our life. They also taught us to be cautious of time and be independent. The best things were the test taking strategies and comparing ang contrasting text. My reading teacher helped us unlock locker locks and it helps me get to class easier.
