I relate a lot to the video because I'm the type of person that prefer doing things one by one (monotasking), because by doing it I can be more focus to my work and get a better result than multitasking. I think we still can monotask even if we have the technology that provides lots of application that we can use at the same time, it's our task to manage it, so I think the monogadgets that were mentioned are unnecessary.

I think i agree with Mr Paolo that important to apply the monotasking because monotasking helps you to focus at one thing at one time and it also helps you preventing missleading information between one thing and the other thing if you do multitasking. So the conclusion is i agree with monotasking, but again, everything have their own plus minus.

The video is giving an explanation about multitasking and monotasking. In my opinion not every person can do tasks at the same time because the focus is not clear to one task, the focus is split into two or maybe three task at once. I think it is so inefficient especially when it comes to study because you need to be focus on your study and not disturbed by other things. So monotasking is way better efficient and gives us much better outcomes.

In my opinion, as a person who can’t really multitask, although monotask is a great thing to do, it’s unecessary for smartphones or any gadgets like Paolo showed at his TedTalk to do just one activity because we don’t really use smartphones for just sms, compass, or take pictures. I think the actual purpose of smartphones is to make one device that can do many things (multitask). If we want to do just one activity such as take pictures, we can use a real camera instead of a gadget. But in real life or real activity such as homework or household chores i think it’s important to do monotask so we can focus to achieve our goals one by one.

for me personally, he made a few accurate points regarding to how mono tasking is more effective in increasing productivity and creative skills. Gaining focus from doing a singular activity is much more achievable than doing multiple activities at once and instead of trying to multi task, mono tasking rather focuses on maximizing an activity than trying to get everything done yet the outcome comes out either decent or underwhelming. But, some activities in life require us to multitask to achieve the best quality for us. For example, multitasking cooking and getting work done in the beginning of the week to prep for the week ahead can give us a good headstart and result in a better time management for the week ahead.

So, monotasking and multitasking both have their good causes.

Learning from my experiences, I've learnt that sometimes often multitasking can either results in a way we're not expecting. For example you want to cook dinner, and you need to read the recipe, but on the other hand, you got a call from your co-worker, wanting to discuss about work matters. This can either make you forget the recipe correctly, or forgetting the work matters your friend wanted to talk about. On the other hand, mono tasking will give you some focus, and it'll be a quicker process, since we've put our objective into that one specific matter. So in this topic, I agree with his idea of mono tasking.

By monotasking, we can control our focus on just one thing and it can give a better upshot than multitasking. From my point of view, multitasking itself is divided our focus to several things at the same time so we are not focusing on getting a best upshot but we just focusing on how the things we are up to are finished. On the other hand, monotasking can help us to maximize our focus and it can give us a better upshot since we are focusing on finish the thing for the best upshot.

Designer Paolo Cardini makes us question about how truly effective we think about our ways of multitasking, when instead we can do things separately and it'll be more efficient to do so due to focusing on one activity at once rather than taking the hard route of doing everything at once. Paolo Cardini discusses about how constant distractions in a multitasking world can hinder productivity and creativity. Cardini encourages embracing monotasking as a means to achieve deeper concentration, efficiency, and better overall well-being. In a highly digitized world where our phones can do anything we tend to lose our ways where distractions are vibrant and varied so in a mocking way he made covers to block out ways to do multiple tasks at once on our phones.

In my conclusion, in a world riddled with multitasking and everyone strive to do so, it would be easier to focus on one task at once

Personally, I agree with Paolo Cardini's sentiment urging us to "Forget multitasking, try monotasking." Over time, I've found that dedicating my attention to one task at a time not only enhances my focus but also elevates the quality of my work. Monotasking allows me to immerse myself fully in the intricacies of a particular assignment, minimizing distractions and the likelihood of errors. While I acknowledge the value of multitasking in certain scenarios, especially in fast-paced work environments, I've come to appreciate the depth of understanding and the sense of accomplishment that comes with monotasking. Striking a balance is essential, but integrating more monotasking into my routine has undeniably improved my overall productivity and the satisfaction I derive from completing each task with greater precision.
