The book I chose to review is called Frindle. It is book about a boy in grade 5 that makes up a word called Frindle. The teachers in the boys school really dislike the word and start punishing anyone who says it. Will the grade 5 boy Nick pull it off and have his word frindle added in the dictionary? The book I am choosing to review is Awful Auntie, it is a book about a girl living in her mansion with her parents, a car crashed and all the bones the girl had was crushed, or so her auntie says, she was the last survivor of her family including her auntie, her auntie did not feed her, hydrate her, and did not allow her to speak a word, for all i know she hates her.

The book I chose to review is Warriors ( pls read omen of the stars series after the first ) Its about cats fighting over territory and other stuff. They are cool and know how to fight and hunt their own food called prey.

I think “When I grow up I want to be” is a good book because it tells interesting stories, while expressing a very important message. Want to be surprised? Read “When I grow up I want to be” ;)

Do you like animals? well then bunny and monkey is the book for you.

First, it is a funny book about 2 woodland animals that are fighting all the time and being silly and I would give it a laugh rate of 100.

Secondly, it has good drawings that look really colorful and it really tells the story visually. For example, I could just take a drawing like monkey hitting bunny with a stick I would know that monkey is trying to annoy bunny like a lot.

Lastly, all the characters are really funny like action beaver or weenie and pig. They bring funny stories to the books of bunny vs monkey like when action beaver crashes into bunny's house.

With all these reasons, the book teaches that there can always be fun even in scary moments especially when you have good friends around you.

I have read many great books throughout the year, but one of my favorites was Percy Jackson! (All 5 of them)
I like them all because of the adventure, humor, and description in all the five books!
In every book, they tell you a bit about the last book to refresh your memory.
Another reason I like Percy Jackson is because of the description. Instead of "My sword." they say: "Bronze Greek sword about a meter long with a leather-bound grip. The blade glowed faintly, casting a golden light."
Isn't that so descriptive?
There is also a lot of humor. Take these sentences:
"Moooooooo!"
" 'He says Percy is his protector.' Grover announced. "And he's running from the bad people. They are close."
I was wondering how you could get that out of a single moooooooo!"
OR
'Nico... ' I looked around to make sure no one was listening. 'Nico is the son of Hades'
Tyson nodded thoughtfully.
'The god of dead people.

I'm not even going to explain the adventure part!
Let's go with this: Percy and friends have...
Ridden a giant hog, dipped themself into the River Styx,died, came back to life, made friends with Cerbus, Guard dog of the underworld, killed a hydra, battled a manticore, killed the Nemean lion, listened to sirens (creatures that can make you go crazy), rebuilt Olympus... you get it.

I hope you'll read Percy jackson to laugh and scream!

I read many fantastic books throughout the year but this is the book I most liked reading. I bet if you read it, you would say that this is the best book I have ever read!
I like this book (I actually like all the Roald Dahl books) because it has rich vocabulary in it and it is really easy to visualise. Secondly, I like that this book has drawings in parts where it is hard to visualise.
Another reason I like this book is that it has real life photos of himself (Roald Dahl). F.Y.I this book is about the authors real life story.

I hope you will try reading this book!

Billionaire boy is about a boy called Joe that is very rich and is a spend thrift(somebody that spends money in a careless or wasteful way)But he wanted to move to a local school because he was bullied that his father made money out of toilet paper.Then in the local school he made friends with a boy named Bob who was just like him, Fat and chubby.Joe tried to keep the secret that he was a billionaire because if he didn't everybody wanted to take money from him but one day his dad accidentally shared it.Joe also lost his friend because Bob found out that something that Joe was doing (Not going to tell you!) This book is also very good as it teaches you a lesson that money can't solve everything and not being greedy. Plus there is a Giant twist at the end not going to tell you again because if you want to know you got to read the book. So please Read the book ! Thank You.

Near the end of the story, there was a twist as somebody unexpectedly got discovered as the Culprit - but that isn’t all. There is another Culprit to be found, but one person is already prepared to announce who it is to the world.

I would like to share with you a book review of my favourite book I've read this year. The book is called "When the Stars are Scattered" by Omar Mohamed and Victoria Jamieson.

This book is about a boy called Omar and his little brother Hassan. They live together in a refugee camp in Kenya, Africa. They are waiting for the war in Somali to end, so they can go back home and find their mother. Everyday they go to sleep on an empty stomach and never get enough food and clean water. Sometimes in Refugee camp he feels alone and lonely, but he has his brother, his school and most importantly his community around him. He didn't choose to be a refugee, but he's choosing to believe in a future for his family.

I like this book for the following reasons.

Firstly, this book is based on a true story that happened in real life. I can easily connect and imagine the life they had in the refugee camp.

Secondly, it inspired me to feel grateful for what I already have. Omar was always very optimistic about everything and looked at the bright side even in the worst situations.

Finally, I enjoyed its illustration even though I usually do not read Comic-fiction. One thing I like about the Illustrations are they are very precise and focus on small details.

I've read many books throughout the years but I liked a particular book called 'Keeper of the Lost Cities' (All 9 of them) by Shannon Messenger.

I like this book series because. . .
First of all, The characters in the book have cool powers such as telepathy, fire or water (With different names for the powers) and when they use their powers in the book it really hooks me in.

Next, the main character(Sophie(Close to mine which is Sophia)) goes through a lot of danger and trauma that makes her have nightmares and horrors stuck in her head and sometimes it makes me connect to the character with all the things I'm scared of.

Finally and equally important, the description that goes into the settings really help me visualise and imagine the place in my head. Sometimes it's dark and scary and sometimes it's lovely and bright!

Don't you want to read this book now?
Well I definitely want to read it again!

I've read many of these books and it is full of adventure i wont spoil it for you though. i chose this book because it is such an adventurous book with mysteries i would recommend this to cat people mostly but its fine if your a dog lover you can always look up erin hunters book and there is a dog one called survivors so i would recommend this book to you!

Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie is about a young millionare who has everything you could imagine, Linnet Doyle who was tragicly murdered in a cruise along the Nile. Every single passenger has a motive to kill her and some evidence against them but the great detective Hercule Poirot must dicide who did it before they reach the end of the cruise. Everybody is suspecting young Jaquelene de Bellefort because she was once engaged to Simon Doyle Linnet’s current husband. But the evidence points to everybody but her even though Jaquelene has told that she wants revenge by saying “I’d like to put my dear little pistol against her head and just pull the trigger.”
One thing that is amazing about Death on the Nile is that the solution is simple but it is still so baffling.
So pick up Death on the Nile by the best selling author Agatha Christie, you will not regret it.

Although Louis Sachar’s books are sometimes dark and violent, but they are really addictive. I really liked Holes and Small Steps. These are actually two connecting stories. Small Steps has a bit of inappropriate info but it’s a very good book. But if you like a bit of fast-paced books, then Louis Sachar will be a perfect fit for you.
