They were afraid of what Hitler was able to do with his army that the United States could not officially do. Hitler had the power to do virtually anything he wanted. Anything from Suppressing anyone who opposed his ideas. He could form an army that was massive. He had more power than what we could imagine. It was not until after Germany declared war on the U.S that we responded. It's not something the U.S does is let someone attack them without a defensive response </div>]]></description>

The people would only go to war if there was American blood slipped. Which up until Pearl Harbor not much had been spilled.</div>]]></description>
