This is an interactive quiz game that I generated through Claude. It's based on real NBA players that the students have heard of to make the content relevant to them. I only made minor tweaks. I added a 24 second "shot clock" and changed the message that shows up after you answer a question or if the time runs out to sound like you were playing basketball. I also tried adding sound effects, but the sounds weren't what I wanted. This is supposed to be used as a review game after I have taught the class how to convert fractions and decimals and percentages.

Nearpod Powerpoint

I uploaded the slide presentation I had edited from Chat GPT into Nearpod and added open ended questions and quiz questions in the middle of the slides as a way to make sure kids are staying on task and are understanding the content. I came up with the questions on my own. The only issues I had with nearpod was getting my powerpoint uploaded. It was weird with transferring over the same formatting and pictures, so I had to upload all the slides as images in order to get it to work.

Chat GPT Powerpoint

I used Chat GPT to create the initial slides for the powerpoint. I attempted to prompt Chat to generate images and make the slides more visually appealing but it wasn't working very well so I edited the slides myself by using the theme recommendations in Microsoft Powerpoint. I love using Chat GPT to create the info I put into slides since it saves me so much time, but I don't like the way it designs the slides. It makes them look boring and unappealing.

Adobe Express Video

I used Adobe Express to record my video and uploaded it into my google drive in order to share it. I had to record a second time because the mic was messed up during the first recording. This video explains my Padlet project.
