The trading ports were more valuable because they went for the money of china and stopped everything so they cant gain power and wealth to help fight against the Europeans. But they should have tried to talk instead of just going out and killing people, right there was bad, but at the same time I wouldn't want to be exploited and everything for decades.

The Europeans made a plan to go take over Africa and ran lose with all of Africa and took over their money and destroyed things.
Then they weren't even happy with running wild in Africa, so they wanted to try to take over Asia, mainly China. And so the Europeans have been there for decades and the Chinese people got tired of being played with and fought back and went out killing which shouldn't have happened. So there was many problems with this event in history, The Europeans were greedy for land, money, and power. That cost them many lives and deaths that shouldn't have happened because the Chinese people were ruthless and just went out killing the higher class Europeans without even trying to talk to them. And that group was called the Boxer rebellion for short which killed many.
