This is something I learned from martial arts, which turned out to be more about education and strength of the mind and soul rather the body; which athleticism was gained as more of a side effect of proper body and mind knowledge from proper concentrated learning and instruction, rather than teaching or leaning on one or the other. I like to have the sperate whole and group reading areas as this images does. The teacher in not backed in a corner but also has full view of the classroom. I really like the use of storage cubbies near the entrance. I also like how each area can maintain it's own use as the smaller magnetic board on the right can be used for individual planning. This would be mainly older students say your patrols who would look over the playground and reach out to students playing alone and try to introduce others to them. These students would also help be mediators and help resolve disputes. This could be just another responsibility of the patrol team, I would instead of just have it at playground time but traveling to and from classes or on field trips, trying to encompass everyone constantly.
