The reason why I gave The Great Gatsby a five is because Fitzgerald figurative language is spot on, the way Fitzgerald made symbolic symbols have a meaning for the end of the book. It gave interest to readers because me personally i wanted to know the true meaning of the green light that had been distributed in the early stages of the book. just by the symbols of the green light and the valley of ashes. my favorite part of the book was when George kills Gatsby at his own pool then commits suicide Gatsby died for a women that didn't even care about him in the end.
