Hi everybody my name is David Chavez. I'm 16 years old and I'm from Peru. Today I want to talk to you about "My last trip".

My last trip was a year ago, it was a family trip. We went to Trujillo (a big city in Peru) for 3 days. We left Nuevo Chimbote at around 8 in the morning and we arrived to Trujillo at around 12. We took a walk to the center to visit the plaza. When we were at the plaza we took a lot of photos and we were looking for something to buy as a souvenir. We found a tiger plushy, we thought it was very cheap, so we bought it. We were walking for a long time, until my mom realized that we were lost, so my dad had to call my aunt for directions. We took like 2 buses to go to my aunt's house because it's far to the center. We arrived to her house in the evening, my aunt's family was very happy that we were there, they cooked the dinner for us and we ate. Then I went to play video games with my cousins while my parents were talking with my aunt and uncle about our trip. We went to bed very late but we had to wake up early. In the morning my dad met up with his old friends and we came along with him. We stayed with him until his friends arrived. Then, my mom and I had to go back to Nuevo Chimbote because we had a lot of things to do. We arrived in the morning because I had to go to school. My dad had a great day, he ate a lot and shared good experiences with his friends. He arrived to Nuevo Chimbote in the evening.

It was a short but good trip and I'm very happy to share it with you. Thanks for watching and goodbye.

My trip was on September 28, it was a recreational and educational school trip in which my classmates and teachers also participated.

We visited several cities including Moro and Nepeña, which are small cities in Peru with the aim of visiting some museums and learning more about the history of Peru.

Our first destination was SEDIR, which is an agricultural association where I observed mango and avocado plants, as well as wines and artisanal cocktails.

Then we went to the Moro museum where I saw several antiques such as pottery and a mummy, we also visited the "Waka Culebra" which was sculpted in stone, then we went to the "Puquio Pipi" lake.

Then we got on the bus and headed to Pañamarca where they explained to us the paintings that the culture made.

From there we returned to Chimbote to be able to go to our homes.

What I liked the most about visiting Moro was his museum where I saw objects that I had not seen, such as a mummy or ceramic pieces, and I learned about his culture. I also had a lot of fun with my friends when we walked around and took photos.

My memorable birthday was last year, my 18th birthday.

They took me shopping all morning and afternoon because my family had a surprise party for me at my house.

My family and friends were all at my house.

The theme of the party was Barbie, so everything was pink.

We had baked chicken with salad and soda because it's one of my favorite foods.

I loved my cake it was strawberry with cream, that's my favorite!

They also made me a piñata with candy for the kids. They gave me many gifts but my favorite was a small bag that I loved which is pink with flowers.

I really loved my party because it was the first time they threw a surprise party for me and I had a very happy time.

My birthday was on a Saturday. When I woke up, my family and friends congratulated me. Around 3 pm, I went to church to teach the children. When the classes ended, all the children in the church congratulated me and gave me a big hug. It was a very nice and special moment for me.

Later, at 4:30 pm, I went shopping with my older brother and his girlfriend. We bought some sweets and returned home. When I went to my room and opened the door, my friends surprised me with a cake. It was very fun and nice. We ate cake and they went home.

Then I went with my dad to buy another cake, when we returned my neighbors from church sang "happy birthday" to me and prayed for me. Then I had dinner with my family. It was a very special day.

Two days later, on March 9, it was my quinceañera, everything was beautiful.

My birthday was on a Saturday. When I woke up, my family and friends congratulated me. Around 3 p.m., I went to church to teach the children. When the class ended, all the kids from church wished me a happy birthday and gave me a big hug. It was a very nice and special moment for me.

Later, at 4:30 p.m., I went shopping with my older brother and his girlfriend. We bought some sweets and returned home. When I opened the door to my room, my friends surprised me with a cake. It was so fun and nice. We had cake together, and then they went home.

Then I went with my dad to buy another cake. When we got back, my neighbors from church sang "Happy Birthday" to me and prayed for me. Then, I had dinner with my family. It was a very special day.

Two days later, on March 9th, I had my "quinceañero". Everything was beautiful. I wore a green dress, my favorite color.

At my party, all the people closest to me were there: my family, friends, and neighbors. We had so much fun, and I received many gifts; I loved each one of them. I also danced the waltz with my brothers, but the best moment of my "quinceañero" was dancing with my dad. My "quinceañero" was a dream come true, and I enjoyed every moment with the people who mean so much to me.

They also made me a piñata with candy for the kids and they also played games, the first one was "Hot Patato" it's about passing an object while a song plays and the person who has left has to do a penance Then we played "Musical Chairs" which is about everyone dancing around chairs and the winner was my cousin and it was very funny. They gave me many gifts but my favorite was a small bag that I loved which is pink with flowers.

I really loved my party because it was the first time they threw a surprise party for me and I had a very happy time.

And my English grades improved a lot, well maybe I need to improve and learn more, but now I know more things than before.

I have another experience. In this year I went tp the FSY, For the Strength of Youth. This is done by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

As its name says, it's to strengthen youth, both physically and spiritually. The young people are there for 5 or 6 days, to learn more about the Heavenly Father and to be able to meet more young people. This year was my first year at the FSY. And it was incredible, I met several people inside the church. In the FSY we have a vitor and its like this (VIDEO)
