Learning Technologist
5 years experience of teaching HE in FE (B.A. Business & HND Business and Finance). Taught Business Information Systems, English for Academic Purposes and Study Skills. Was also lead personal tutor. The relevance of my image: Engagement with learning - my students had often chosen Business because they couldn't think of anything else to study, but wanted to go to university. We supported them in an FE college so that they could join their university peers for their final year. Many gained first class degrees which was very rewarding!

Reader in Medical Education. Have 'taught' Clinical Communication to medical students for 15 years. Apart from facilitating small groups of students and qualified doctors, I have run various workshops to train facilitators, lecturers, examiners, simulated patients.
I have used this image to show that working with students on their communication is a bit like working with clay; it is flexible, strong, yet fragile; it has a memory; and as long as you look after it well, it will not 'set' or become brittle.

Digital Education Officer with a passion for all things collaborative and creative. My background is in museum learning and community-based workshops. However, I've been doing administrative work while juggling with caring responsibilities for the past few years and doing a bit of freelance arty stuff on the side (life writing, poetry, zines and bookbinding). My image is a handmade collage with marries together my interests in outreach / widening participation, access, experimentation and fun.
