I learned that even simple things like unplugging things when your done with them and changing regular lightbulbs  to CFL lightbulbs can reduce our carbon footprint. I also learned that wind power is much cheaper and easier to use than people think it is. At school I will make sure I unplug my chargers when I am done with them. I now know that the simple act of changing the light bulbs in my house from standard to more efficient ones can drastically decrease the carbon emissions I indirectly put into the atmosphere. The cost of these bulbs may be higher, but in the long run they can decrease energy prices so there is actually money saved by buying the more expensive bulb.
