  • Simplicity and ease of use
iPad is designed in a thin and flat shape, which is easy for people to carry around. The function button on the top is the shutdown button, the customer can turn off and turn on the iPad by simply pressing the button, also for the volume button, just need to press it then the customer can adjust the volume. In addition, people can use the iPad by touching the screen or using an apple pencil.

The arrangement of the iPad interface is ease for understanding its function. The new iPad only has one page with all of its basic apps on it. All of the apps have their function written under the icon to inform the user. The icon is also related to its function, like the icon of the clock app is a clock. Aside from this, the iPad has almost the same function as iPhone, from the app's icon to the functional button. Therefore, if the user used iPhone before, then the time duration for he/she to learn how to use the iPad would be reduced.
  • Visibility
When you turn on the iPad, the screen should be visible so the user can know where to touch, in order to access the app.
  • Feedback
while the user is touching on some of the app, then the screen would shows the interface of that app, so the user can know the iPad is giving a response to the action. Other than this, if user press on the volume button, the screen would show a bar that indicates the percentage of volume to response their action.
  • Affordance
Each app in iPad affords its own function like map, clock, camera, etc. 
  • Constraints
the charging port of the iPad is only allow the type-c charger to plug in, this constraints can ensure the users would not accidently plug other chargers into the port.
