Being able to use Google Docs or Word efficiently is a vital skill, especially in this day in age, because everything is getting digitalized by the second. We are moving away from writing information on pen and paper and sending letters. Therefore, if you are good at digitalizing information, it will make your life easier. You also don't have to retype all of your assignments, emails, work, etc.

Reason 2:

It keeps all of your information organized, saves it and makes it easy to share with others without having to rewrite it. You have infinite copies of it forever as well. It can also never get lost, as it saves it automatically.
