" My connection to Olongapo runs deep, as I’ve spent

countless years engaged in its vibrant community, despite my roots and grew up way back in

Ota-gunma ken in Japan.

Living in Olongapo has truly opened my eyes, allowing me to

appreciate the beauty of the Philippines in a way I had never imagined before.

Throughout my time there, I have encountered many wonderful individuals, friends who have

filled my days with laughter and created loads of cherished memories. Ulo ng Apo stands as

a symbolic heart of the city, and it resonates deeply within me. Though Olongapo may be

smaller in size, it feels larger-than-life compared to my affection for Manila. This dynamic city

has played a significant role in shaping my identity, nurturing me as I embraced my Filipino

the specific foods that i would like to highlight are : pancit & shokoy. growing up these were staples in every family celebration that we have that it became a tradition that whenever we don't know what to eat our go-to would always be pancit and shokoy from a quaint little resto in our town called "Bangking".
