When I first saw this Australian doll, it reminded me of Colonial times. However, I then learned that he was a nice, friendly man who goes around greeting the people of Australia, proud to be carrying his belongings. His name was Gunner Bill. Bill would travel across the country and herd sheep and other animals. This therefore interested me and it taught me about the interesting Australian culture.
