-Was all treasure in one inheritance from a Thress Patchsalt to a Petra Patchsalt. Petra received the map but Thress died before he could reveal meaning of images and words.

-The treasure is hid in a place precious to the memory of the father child relationship of Thress and Petra, but Petra could not recall the memory enough to locate her inheritance. passed it on to Patch Patchsalt her great niece who is the only survivor of the Patchsalt halfling clan, a once powerful merchant family of Salt when Salt was the only Magical component needed to cast any spell.

-The treasure was a great fortune...The salt was before the most coveted product in the world. Before it fell, Thress spent all of it as currency (then more coveted than gold) to stock a ship as an inheritance that would support his daughter Petra for a lifetime. Furthermore, it was said that it would help her amass an even greater fortune to maintain Patchsalt as a powerful family. Rumors say it is all magical items and weapons. Some say it is because of the plunder inside is made up of goods that sell around the world as Thress traveled everywhere to fill the hold of his ship.

-Some say the treasure is worthless as the treasure was the ship itself, then new to the world as a fast sailing ship with no need of oars that is now fairly common. however, the ship may be valued at 20,000 gold if that is true which is more than enough for a lifetime of a halfling. However, that does not account for how Thress filled it traveling the world. Some say that the ship was the first of its kind to be able to travel around the world which most ships can do today. Nevertheless, the treasure is 20, 000 gold worth of a quality sailing ship or it is worthe much more. Some say he traveled the world looking for a wizard to make it fit into a bottle or hold up to 50 cres which makes the ship at least 100,000 gold making the treasure very large.

-Thress in exchange for making the ship be blessed with the bottle of holding, told the wizard he would kill a dragon. He did. another wizard gave him a spell of fire resistance. he took the item of fire resistance, and weighted his body to sink far below the sea. The dragon sniffed him out following the item of fire resistance wanting to destroy it as the best defense against dragons for obvious reasons. The dragon followed his sinking body to the bottom of the sea. Thress held another item that would want to be destroyed by a creature as poweful as a dragon: an item to resist the pressure of the deep sea, underwatebreathing, and underwater vorpal harpoon. The Shackled Kraken sniffed scried it out and went to ocnsume the sinking body of Thress. The dragon and the kraken met. At least Thress and the dragon did not retrun from that meeting. The wizard who scried the battle insisted the Kraken was torched and the dragon drowned. Thress was lost in the middle.

-Thress dealt with many wizards: a war wizard whom he supplied with salt for a lifetime for his magic, a wizard who designed powerful items to destroy the Shackled Kraken, the wizard who made his ship like a bag of holding, a wizard who designed an item to take down the last dragon fo the Shackles. His ship may have very strong magical items.
