         <description><![CDATA[<div>I want to change everything about my current method of self-care. It is intoxicating and makes me feel like I'm slowly dying. There is nothing bright about it. It is not self-care at all, it is just entitled that way as an excuse to leave me desolate and isolated.<br>I want to make things different for me. This new self-care of mine would involve journaling, eating healthy food, change your atmosphere, become positive and productive, annihilate the negativity and toxicity in life, meditating, and the sort. Things I’d like to do differently in my self-care is to put meaning to the things I do for myself. Lots of times, I do forms of self-care but it mostly feels like a task rather than feeling relaxed. It won’t mean anything unless you put meaning to it. The sole purpose of self-care is to give love and care to ourselves.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I would honestly love to say that I could prioritize self-care and mental stability instead of worrying about grades and school but I know that this mindset will lead me to being unhappy and discontent with my grades that is why I've decided to focus on making time for doing anything that I want for 2 hours to combat stress from school works. I find that making time for yourself to just focus on what you want to do rather than what you need to do is especially relaxing and enjoyable, although not the most ideal way of self-care as it is a bit indulgent but it is better than sitting <mark>in front </mark>of your computer not accomplishing anything.<br>Ariadne B. 10Amethyst</div>]]></description>

At everything we do, we go "oh no, this, or that might happen", or "what if, this, what if that" and such. Having a negative mindset won't bring you to more places, yet it would bring you either down or you'd stay where you are.          <description><![CDATA[<div>What I would want to do differently in terms of my self-care is to constantly remind myself to not be hard on myself and keep on trusting in God. I will be honest, when I am facing problems, I tend to blame myself for it all. I tend to be too hard on myself whether it is a big mistake or a small one. When I look back, I realized just how being hard on myself is not the solution to my problems. Hurting myself won't solve anything and it is not a way to discipline me for the better anyway. This is what I should constantly be learning especially with regards to my self-care.&nbsp; It's not easy to move on and not blame yourself, but it doesn't mean that I will give up.          <description><![CDATA[<div>There are some things that I don't do because I know that they're bad for my wellbeing. During times of hardship, my views on these actions become distorted and I start thinking of them to be actions of self-care; logic being that they feel good, so they must be good. This is not true.&nbsp;<br><br>Actions that are truly good for my wellbeing and indicative of self-care are actions that will benefit me in the long run at no serious detriment to myself. The problem I have with self-care is knowing that it takes work, which is not the easiest thing to do when you are in a place where work is the last thing on your mind.&nbsp;<br><br>You must endure hardship in order to experience benefit: like working out and feeling the burn in order to reach an aesthetic and/or health gain. It doesn't necessarily feel good the entire time, but the results ultimately boost your self-esteem and overall wellbeing.          <description><![CDATA[<div>As someone who is always anxious, I see the act of "blocking" someone in social media or ignoring people in general as a bad action. I see it as being a "toxic" person or being selfish, and so on. Because, I don't know how this person will react if I cut them out of my life. I surely know that ignoring someone or that being ignored is hurtful, but with this, I fail to consider: Am I being hurtful to myself?<br><br>At times, I consider that maybe... I should just let go.&nbsp;<br><br>If someone makes me feel bad about myself very often when we speak (may it be online or outside), maybe that's a sign that they aren't good for me anymore. Loved ones are supposed to make you feel recognized, important, and... "loved." The "L" in Loved doesn't mean "Loser" or "Lonely." So, why do I let that be?<br><br>To become more happy, I want to enjoy the important things: Friends and family who care about me, making memories that'll last centuries, falling in love with what is truly me. I think its important also to have our own time to our self so we can enjoy our self also. I think it is also good to practice different love language to our self, Example: If we like quality time, I think its nice that we could take our self to dates such as taking your self to salon to pamper yourself. I also encourage that you could meditate once a day and set your goals for a week or plan your long time goals. It helps you to be more intact with yourself and help you to be more organized about your thoughts.</div>]]></description>

On the other hand, during exam season, I gain the motivation to start studying at only when it's 10pm onwards. It is as if my positive traits are non-existent. Though I believe that being able to recognize your negative traits is important for the sake of humility, overdoing it will cost a person's self-esteem and confidence. There are times when negative traits (thinking I didn't do much in school work, etc.) of myself have enslaved me instead of positive ones, and this heavily affected my relationship with others, so I actually want to work this out.
