If you look at a map it is to the South of the state capitol, which is Oklahoma city. The Chickasaw tribe was a break off of Choctaw nation. The men had feathers and beads to decorate around the waist. The Women of the Chickasaw nation wore this leather or cloth dress with a little bit of frills They had a blanket/half robe kind of thing around there. This was when more than 3,000 Chickasaw people crossed the Mississippi river. The resulted in more than 500 of the Chickasaw people dying on the Journey. When it came to the removal of the Chickasaw Nation, they were forced to leave the Indian Territory. On there way of the removal lots of people died and families suffered heartbreak. They broke off from them and created there own government which created a feud against the two but, they still kept a general idea of their traditions. some of them are worship and festivals. These festivals would have food and celebrations. In these celebrations they would sing dance and hang out as a "family".
