Trace or Draw the three objects as a collage.

Incorporate both simulated, actual, and invented textures in the collage. include one combo texture.

Submit to Padlet with a description of the piece ( either artistic with adjectives or analytical in the process) and it's textures.

The first one, inventive was a little challenging to do. I am still a little confused on what that means, but i hope i used the shape language correctly. The triangles represent the sharp angles (the key in real life is sharp), the squares represent boxiness, and the circles represent smoothness.

The second one, the actual and stimulated is a chapstick tube, the body of it is cough drop wrappers and the cap and twist thing is drawn.

The paper crane is completely graphite, I tried to make it as accurate as the real crane as possible.

I used paper strips to create the simulated textures of the bristles, that in combination with the handle create the actual texture.

The second one was the board of a cutting board. I used it’s checker board like feel to create the invented texture that I was looking for.

The third one was the side of a cardboard box lid, which was a little difficult, but I used lines in different directions to show the roughness of the cardboard

For this assignment, I decided to use a variety of objects in my backpack. My first object is my Glossier lip product and I decided to use actual and simulated texture. The actual texture is where the product is oozing out of the container, and the simulated is the dark lines around the container giving it a more realistic look. Next, my second object is my AirPods and I decided to use simulated texture. The darkened lines give the AirPods inside a more two dimensional look, and really emphasizes the structure of the case. And finally my third object is my calculator and I decided to use invented texture. I used a creative design distinct to me giving it a more unique focus, and how I might view more behind a calculator.

I drew the bracelet, and added the real pearl bracelet on top of it, creating the real texture.

On the top left of my page is an actual texture of a seashell, the seashell in the original picture has small bumps across, and because they're at a higher position then the rest of the body they would end up lighter, thanks to shadows and highlights I made it to the best of my ability to make it realistic.
On the bottom left is an invented texture of an anti-slip surface cover, at first, I was hoping to turn the repetitive pattern into bubbles, since describing bubbles texture wise is interesting. In the end I adapted to what seem to look like beans with odd thin hair at certain areas and at some points in the substance elongates itself, to assimilate a sort of stretchy substance. Therefore, the original area of this creation and concept remains the same but the texture changes.
On the top right is the combined simulated and actual texture, where you could easily distinguish, the difference between what I attempted to simulate in textures and what is an actual physical texture.
On the bottom right side of my page is an actual rock, and that's as actual as it can possibly get, in the image you can identify its pointy and mostly likely smooth in certain areas, while rocky as you continue downwards.

These items all come from my background. The brush is Invented. I drew a realistic brush and drew hair strokes. I actually put a few hair strands to make it more realistic. I added heavy shading to the black little dots to make it look real. The AirPods case is Actual. I tried to add shading to add to the realistic allusion. This one was a bit tricky to mimic. Lastly, the toothpaste was the most challenging. I added real toothpaste so it looks a bit more realistic. The tube was hard to shade to look real.
