Response: I still think he is innocent. In the beginning of the podcast Sarah asked Adnan's mother about her thoughts on why he got arrested. She said it was because they were getting discriminated. Later on during the trial it was thought that Adnan killed Hae because he was a Muslim. They thought that because she wouldn't let him control her he would just put end to things by killing her. Response: In this episode we find out that there was no actual pay phone at the Best Buy Hae was said to be killed. Later on in the podcast we get to see Adnan's side of the story where he talks about what it was like in prison and how he moved around different prisons. Response:In this episode we don't get much information on Adnan but at a point its mentioned that to make sure Jay stays quite about Hae's murder Adnan threatened to kill Jay's girlfriend Stephanie if he were to say something. It would be really easy for him to kill her since they were close. Response: I'm starting to think that Adnan might be guilty. In this episode it was mentioned that his finger prints were found at the back of a map in the car. Also after he supposedly murdered Hae him and Jay went to some party at friend of Jay's. Response: I think that Adnan is innocent because because it says that it takes a long time to leave his school and then get to best buy. I feel like he couldn’t do that in the minimal time it would take to do anything. I just think he couldn’t kill her in the time listed. Response: The first time I listened to this episode I thought that Adnan might be guilty. Now he didn't have one person that said it was him but two. When I listened to the podcast for a second time I realized that he might be innocent. I think that maybe Jay had something to do with Hae's murder and that's why he told his friend Jen. I think both of them made up a story to try and defend Jay. Response: I think that after this episode Adnan might be guilty. There was another person that was suspected of having murdered Hae. At first I thought the guy might have been guilty by the way he described how he found her body. Although after Sarah went to check the place out for herself she confirmed that it was a distance far enough to go into the woods. Response: I still think he's innocent. In this episode everyone that knew Adnan his friends, family, teachers, said that he wasn't acting weird or obsessive of Hae after the breakup. Even Hae herself mentioned that they were still friends in her diary. On the day she was killed the state said that Adnan asked her for a ride home. Even some of her friends remember him asking. At the end of the day he was no where to be seen with Hae though. When she was leaving school no one saw her with Adnan. Response: I think Adnan is innocent because there was only one person saying that he planned on killing Hae. On the other hand many other people remember Adnan staying after school and going to the library and talking with him.
