I love these documentaries. It was interesting that flamingos build up little mud nests to place their eggs so they stay slightly cooler. But the little baby flamingo who had all that salt build up on his legs was sad :(

Racer snakes feed on marine iguana hatchlings each year, however due to bad eye sight and other snake clusters getting in the way, the hatchlings have a chance at making it to the ocean for feeding on underwater plant life. Sometimes holding their breath for half an hour each time.

In jungles there are orchids with bucket-like flowers with oily liquid inside. Bees males attract females with strong aroma. There is a symbiosis between a bee and an orchid: when a bee collects juice from a slippery bucket, it falls into it and can only crawl out through a narrow tunnel. Climbing through it, it collects pollen on its back and gets the desired smell.

I saw a meme of this bird forever ago and was never sure if it was real. THEN it pops up in this episode. The (male) Red-Capped Manakin "slithers" and vibrates along a branch to attract a mate. Part of the routine includes "snapping" its wings lightning fast. It didn't work out for the female bird, but I was very impressed :-)

I was surprised that albatross spend a year in the nest but that they have no predators during that time.
