I remember that day as a sad day, I cried a lot because I didn't want to be without my mom there and I was very afraid about all the new things that I should do by myself and meet all those new people. At that time I felt so nervous and uncomfortable.

Vacations after School

I lived all my young life in the town, but my dad lived on our farm, so every holiday we spent our time going to the farm to be there with him - it was an amazing family time. We rode horses, swam, explored nature, ate all kinds of fruits, we really enjoyed those years. One time I was riding a horse and he got scared because the dog barked and the horse started running a lot and I fell so badly that my parents and I were very worried because of how dangerous it was.

My first pet

One day my mom rescued a kitten and took it home, we quickly fell in love with him, we called him Tito, it was gray and too cute, the problem was that my dad didn't let us have pets at home, but my mom got very excited about that kitten, then a couple of months we started sneezing and having allergies which made my mother decide to give the cat to another family.

The best trip

My uncle Victor is the most adventurous guy I have ever met. He moved to Bogotá about 30 years ago to work as a teacher. Before he got married, he used to go to our town every school vacation to spend his free time with us, we walked a lot with him and he is the kind of person who likes to go everywhere and discover new places. I remember when he bought his first car, we toured some towns for a week, it was the first time We traveled in family, it was my first big trip and I have a lot of great memories from that time.

A Heartbreak from my parents

When I was 17 years old my parents got divorced, it was a awful time for my sister and I, but mostly for me, because I am the youngest daughter and my sister was living a that time in Medellin city. So I had to deal with all the bad situations.

One of the most sad days for me and my dad

After my parents divorced, my dad and I felt so alone that we decided to get a new pet, but this time it was a small dog. My father began to love him and Bruno, as we called him, was his companion everywhere. One Sunday we saw his very strange behavior and after a couple of minutes he started vomiting and losing his movements, we realized that he had been poisoned, and then after trying to save his life he died, that feeling was terrible and frustrating because we couldn't do much and We couldn't save him from that pain.

Layla, my new pet

Layla came into my life to save me from pain after a heartbreak. She is my little baby but now she is living with my mom because I moved to the USA and I didn't want her to be alone while I'm working.

She was very cute when she was given to me, and she was my dad's favorite, they slept together and my dad used to take her for walks.

When I was 24 years old I decided to move to another country, it was great to live in Colombia because my country is beautiful, but living here has allowed me to grow a lot, I met a lot of new people, from different countries and I have been to beautiful places, I feel very grateful to God for being here.
