Technology became completely accepted during this time. Many of the well known technologies were invented during renaissance period this was the time of great creativity in arts and sciences. The most important invention of the renaissance period was the printing press.
Most of us tend to take printed materials for granted, but imagine life today if the printing press had never been invented. We would not have books, magazines or newspapers.The printing press allows us to share large amounts of information quickly and in huge numbers. An important side effect was that people could read and increase their knowledge more easily now, whereas in the past it was common for people to be quite uneducated. This increased the discussion and development of new ideasm. As a conclusion, technology are invented for our our good and make our life more easier it depends on us if we will use the technology for good or not.

The Compass

Before electronic compasses that can be found in the most gadgets nowadays, traditional campasses originated and was invented during the Han Dynasty in China. Back then, magnetic compasses weren't used for navigation purposes. Instead, it was invented for geomancy and fortune telling by most Chinese people. Chinese magnetic compasses were basically made to harmonize their buildings according to the geomantic beliefs of feng shui. Later on magnetic were used for navigating places/location during Song Dynasty-middle age according to Shen Kuo. This navigating instrument were made up of a magnetized needle that designed to rotate so it points along with the earth magnetic field. Both end of the needle point to magnetic North and magnetic South. One can guarantee of how to go back if lost by just using this navigation tool.

Today, we have reaped the benefits of this tool could offer. Without the discovery of compass, people's lives wouldn't made living more efficient and made traveling safer. It even taught us how to live life itself. More than that, it gave me the motivation and sparked me a hope to still hold on to my dreams. To be strong, courageous, and to keep focused on my studies despite of the pandemic we are facing right now. To all this, let us live a life that is meaningful and in a worthy manner. Down the chaotic Manila streets, alongside large buses, private cars, and taxi cabs, an eye-catching, anachronistic vehicle carelessly makes its way through. It’s painted with bright colors and adorned with gaudy accessories. This is the Philippine jeepney, a post-World War II innovation, a cultural symbol, and the undisputed “King of the Road”.

Locally referred to as a jeepney or jeep, this interesting-looking vehicle is an affordable mode of Philippine public transport. With designated routes, which are usually painted on their sides or displayed on their windshields, jeepneys stop anywhere along the way to pick up or let off passengers.

It is a proudly Pinoy creation. Considering its history, it has also become a reflection of the Filipino spirit — resilient, innovative, and optimistic.

BRIEF HISTORY

The history of the iconic jeepney bears a resemblance to that of the equally iconic Filipino dish, sisig (sizzling chopped parts of the pig’s head): both were products of ingenious innovation. Just as sisig was created by making the most of cheap throw-away cuts of pigs from the US Air Base in Pampanga, the jeepney was up-cycled from leftover U.S. Jeeps used during World War II.

In the early 1950s, jeepneys began making their rounds in Manila. Soon, they became a solution to the post-war public transportation problem.

Filipinos lengthened the American vehicle to accommodate more passengers, and attached a roof to protect them from the scorching Philippine heat. The seats were removed and replaced with two benches that stretched lengthwise on either side, allowing more seating space, and leaving a narrow space down the middle for an aisle.

The modern world we live in is made up of technological discoveries and inventions that really had a great achievements in the modern age that are done by scientists. These are the facts that the modern age are actually being controlled by machines. One of that is the transportation, year ago there is no such transportation that you could actually go through your target location in just a day. It is one of the most important issues of our history up until now, the way we travelled change so much after decades due to the development. Airplanes are travelling nowadays to the speed that is almost equal to the speed of a car. The technology is developing and we should expect more in the future. It is pushed to be invented because advancement in technology have allowed people to travel farther, explore more terittories and influence over larger and larger areas. Transportation is invented so that it won't keep the people hassle because during the ancient period, we don't actually had transportation like Airplanes, cars, motors and etc. we only had the horse and it took days before you arrive. As a conclusion, modern age is such a great help for everyone of us because they became the umbrella that covers our ignorance toward modern period.

Artificial Intelligence or the idea of inanimate object coming to life has been around for a long time because intelligent robots and artificial beings first appeared in the ancient Greek myths of Antiquity. But the field of AI was not formally founded until 1956. Therefore, in 1956 is the year when the term Artificial Intelligence was first coined or applied. The early work of AI research was to solve problems and symbolic methods with neural networks and stirs excitement for "thinking machines" during 1950s to 1970s. Eventually, in 1980s to 2010s Machine learning became popular. Therefore, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has received increased attention in recent years.
Artificial Intelligence is a branch of computer science that endeavours to replicate or simulate human intelligence in a machine, so machines can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. Therefore, AI works by combining large amounts of data with fast, iterative processing and intelligent algorithms, allowing the software to learn automatically from patterns or features in the data. Additionally, Artificial intelligence have an abilities or programs. Such as, machine learning that automates analytical model buildings, having a neural network that processes information by responding to external inputs. Also, imporoved training techniques to learn complex patterns in large amount of data. Lastly, Artificial Intelligence has a computer vision that relies on pattern recognition to recognize what is in a picture or video. Also, the ability to analyze, understand and generate human language, including speech.
In summary, the goal of AI is to provide software that can reason on input and explain on output. AI will provide human-like interactions with software and offer decision support for specific tasks, but it’s not a replacement for humans.

The Middle Ages encompass one of the most exciting periods in English History. Many of the well-known technologies today are created by the inventors of the Medieval Period. One of the major achievements in S&T is the Windmill. In the Middle Ages most windmills were used as mills proper - for grinding corn and wheat into flour, for lifting water from wells, for sawing wood, and for chopping hay to be an animal fodder. The reason why the windmills are created it’s because to make the people lives easier and to the farmers, it’s hard to grin the corn and wheat by manual handling. In modern times, they use the windmill to generate electricity, unlike energy produced by fossil fuels; wind energy is completely clean and Eco-friendly. You won't have to worry about polluting the environment with destructive emissions or dangerous long-term effects as you would with coal or oil-based energy generation.

When we think of technology, what comes in our mind are cell phones, laptops, computers, and many more. Well, back in the Ancient times technology was blaring, but it is not like what you think. Technology during this period was very useful and hard to deal with because of lack of knowledge to the science. Technology in Ancient times actually means just applying science to solve common problems. With the insufficient knowledge they have, they still have a contribution that were still brought in the modern world. Many of their technologies are still found in modern civilization. Think of it this way, how can they create a strong foundation for buildings and other structure when science that time was not like the science of today?
Can structures still stand for hundreds of years? It is possible right? It is because of the influence of the Roman technology called concrete. Concrete has proven to last for centuries. Romans used it to create perfect arches, monuments, and many other infrastructures.
The Colosseum or officially known as Flavian Amphitheater was built during the reign of the Flavian emperors as a gift to the Roman people and was built by enslaved Jews from Judaea. It was paid with the plunder from Titus’s sack of Jerusalem – an emperor. The emperor Titus celebrated with a hundred days of gladiatorial games when it first opened. Aside from gladiatorial games, it is also used for dramas, re-enactments, and even public executions.
As a conclusion, Colosseum is the product of Ancient Roman Science and Technology. Technology is the product and application of science, that is why Colosseum is the product of science and technology in Roman ancient times.

The first mobile phone call was made 40 years today, on April 3, 1973, by Motorola employee Martin Cooper. When they invent this useful tool? Martin Cooper wanted people to have freedom to talk on the phone away from their cars. So in reaction, he and Motorola embarked on a project to create a more portable device. Martin Cooper placed what's recognized as the first public cell phone call in New York City in 1973.

The mobile phone is now a part of our popular culture. It has changed our attitudes and expectations. Probably the most interesting phenomenon, however, is that the mobile phone has freed us from the constraints of space.

His design was a sealed caldron of water was placed over a heat source. As the water boiled, steam rose into the pipes and into the hollow sphere. The steam escaped from two bent outlet tubes on the ball, resulting in rotation of the ball. The principle he used in his design is similar to that of today's jet propulsion. Heron did not consider this invention being useful for everyday applications: he considered his aeolipile invention as a novelty, a remarkable toy.

There was a vast improvement of science and technology since modern period but one the most sought after invention by the fussion of science and technology was the stethoscope. The stethoscope was invented in France in 1816 by René Laennec at the Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital in Paris.It consisted of a wooden tube and was monaural. Laennec invented the stethoscope because he was not comfortable placing his ear directly onto a woman's chest to listen to her heart. He observed that a rolled piece of paper, placed between the patient's chest and his ear, could amplify heart sounds without requiring physical contact. In 1840, Golding Bird described a stethoscope he had been using with a flexible tube. Bird's stethoscope had a single earpiece. In 1851, Irish physician Arthur Leared invented a binaural stethoscope, and in 1852, George Philip Cammann perfected the design of the stethoscope instrument (that used both ears) for commercial production, which has become the standard ever since. So how does it work? It’s all about vibrations. The part of the stethoscope pushed against your chest or back, with its cold steel giving you shivers for a brief moment, is known as the bell. The bell is flat and round, and is covered by a thin layer of plastic known as the diaphragm. The diaphragm vibrates as sound is produced within the body. These vibrations travel from the bell, up the hollow tube which splits into two, and into hollow ear pieces to be heard as sound by the medical professional. Since then stethoscopes have been the symbol of healthcare professionals as they always have to feel or hear the patients pulse before diagnosing. Healthcare providers are often seen or depicted wearing a stethoscope around the neck.
