At first I stared getting good grades. Then in the middle of the year I started getting cs because I didn't complete all of my assignments. I talked to the teacher and told her what can I do to make my grades go higher. I started doing all the assignment and doing extra work so I could get my grades go up, at the end of the year I got my grades to an A. 

How does this relate to the theme.

My friends and I went to the tryout and pass because me and my friends always went to the park to practice.
