Venezuela is a very beautiful Hispanic country with lots of culture. Venezuela is known for the largest waterfall in the world, angel falls, and the second largest river in South America, the Orinoco River. The population of Venezuela is a whopping 30 million residents in total this year. Venezuela was created in 1830 after the republic of Gran Colombia, a former country that collapsed during a civil war, had split into Panama, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela. The first president of Venezuela, Jose Antonio Paez, was inaugurated on January 13th, 1830.

The main winter holiday in Venezuela is Christmas, the only differenceis that Christmas starts on December 21st. Another important day for the Venezuelans is "El Dia de los Reyes Magos" or "the day of the Three Kings", which take place on January 6th. El Dia de los reyes Magos is a holiday that commemorates the baptism of Christ, along with the Three Wise Kings.

The Venezuelans have a variety of dishes that have been a tradition since before the country was born. The most famous holiday food are Hallacas, which are similar to Tamales, although they use banana husks instead of corn husks, and only one filling.

The countries are very similar in the way that they both celebrate in December, although they both have different dates of celebration, they are both basically the same.
