Report day

Today is the offical report day for my practicum. I am so nervous to meet the new school and get comfortable with the environment. As i got to the school, I sat down at the assembly together with all the teachers. After the assembly, I introduced myself and where from. Then, we went to the canteen to eat breakfast.I was so mesmerized with the teachers pantry as it was so bid and there was also different type of foods. Soon, I met with the headmaster puan hajah suminah to properly introduce myself and gave her some forms to sign. Later on, my mentor was assigned to me. Puan Juliana or I call her kak ju. We went to observe her class, 5 zuhrah.

As for the second day, I'm still observing the classes with my mentor , kak ju in class 5 zuhrah and 5 musytari . The pupils are very noisy considering they are still kids, however they coorperate when it come to learning which is a relieve to me when i will be taking over one of the class. At the end of school, the english panel had meeting for English Month.

today nothing much had happen, I arrived early to follow my mentor for duty at the school's front gate greeting the pupils to school. After that, me and my mentor went to class, as I still observe. I took some notes that will benefit my lessons later.

today, I will haven't started teaching my class yet. However, I became the judge for English month competition in emcee and storytelling for year 4- 6. their performances was quite intruiging although some of them only read the script

week 2

well as for my second week nothing much had happened, I had to reliefs classes for the whole week. our school was chosen to held the MSSD archery for both high school and middle school. it was quite the hectic week but I had fun relief the classes as I to know my students more . I only taught one lesson that week. on Friday we held a sending away event for our headmistress. She got transferred to another school. She was a lovely, kind and supportive teacher.

week3, still the same. I was relieffing classes due to MSSD archery is still on going. then on Friday we had the sending away ceremony. it was very heartfelt.

this week continued as usual, started teaching this week, the students were lovely and funny. I hope they fun during my class. I had to watch over students that retake their exam along with my mentor, madam Juliana.

WEEK 5

this week nothing much has happened, I'm just going to the classes I need to relief then proceed to my classses for teaching

this week I felt a little unwell, so I got an mc for a day. then the next day. I teach as usual and was also the week of my teaching observation with my supervisor. it went okay.

my lecturer came for observation this week on wednesday, I felt so nervous. I have to admit I wasn't mentally prepared for the class but i gave my best. my mentor was there to support me. my pupils were on their best behavior, I was so proud of them

WEEK 8

this week is like another normal week, i going to one of my class reliefs. other than that, my teaching lessons went smoothly.

this is my last 3rd week at this school, I was appointed to teach the dancing club students for Ambang Merdeka performance. it was quite the ride. we had fun but still my classes is going on normally without interrupting the dance practises.

on the day of the performance, they were prepared but also nervous. I however believe in them. They did very well. I'm so proud of my girls. however before the days of Ambang Merdeka, my classes went smoothly as usual

My second last week here, I'm feeling a little somber as I'm about to leave my pupils but I'm sure they will do just fine here after I left the school. the lesson are going well as usual, this week, we did a make a sandwich project. the pupils had so much fun,

as my last week here, the students are very fond of me. some of them even cried. I cried too. We had so much fun learning from each other. A big thanks to my mentor, puan Juliana for helping me throughout this whole practicum. She is the best mentor. During my last day, my students prepared a surprise for me which I find very sweet, lots of them cried and so did I. We took pictures together as memories. I may not be their permanent teacher but I do hope that I can be part of their journey growing up.
