What is the Main Idea of the story Treasure Planet?

The main idea is to never give up on your dreams!

In one part of the story Jim Hawkins (as a child) learns about Treasure Planet and really wants to explore it. When he grows up he doesn't give up on this dream, and eventually finds Captain Flint's treasure hidden there!

In another part of the story we meet a number of pirates who've spent all their lives trying to find Captain Flint's treasure. They're after it because they're greedy, but they're not giving up on their dreams.

In the story Jim often helped clean up the ship. I often help my mom around the house with cleaning. This story takes place in the future. I know this because they have technology (like flying ships) that we don't currently have! There's a number of different locations, such as a spaceport on a moon and Treasure Planet, along with an exploding star during their travels in space!

The main character is Jim. His personality if brave and he doesn't leave anything he wants to finish. He has brown hair and blue eyes. Jim's role is to find Treasure Planet in order to have a better life for his mom and him. Jim is a very helpful individual, often times helping the captain and even a robot who's missing his memory chip!

The problem in this story is that all of them (pirates and adventurers) want the treasure, but they aren't able to work together. Long John Silver wants to steal the whole treasure, while Jim Hawkins and the 'good' members crew want it for adventuring reasons and to fix things. The problem is solved when they find the treasure and have to abandon most of it due to booby traps. Some pirates are captured, and one learns that friendship is more important than greed. 1. They are booby traps wired up in the heart of Treasure Planet, the area where he stashed his treasure.
2. There's a teleporter ball that you need to get to the centre of Treasure Planet, and it's the only way in or out. He hid it with an old pirate named Billy Bones.

My Reasons
1. I assume he could have hidden the treasure somewhere that no one (alive) has ever seen or gone to.
