This project is intended to gather international students to share a deeper and personal look into their school and education experiences from their home countries to teachers in training here at UofP.

I come from a small town an hour's drive from Kyiv.

I graduated from school in 2014, and since then a lot has changed in the Ukrainian school system, as I mentioned in my presentation.

I was pleased to take part in this project, as many people only know about Ukraine in the context of the war, and education is an interesting area for comparison between Germany and Ukraine.

I am originally from Afghanistan and now live in Pocking, Germany. I’m a veterinarian with over 11 years of experience in livestock and animal health, and I’m passionate about rural development, education, and intercultural learning.

I am Munir Ahmad Safi , an Afghan refugee who grew up in a refugee camp in Pakistan. Despite limited resources and many challenges, I pursued my education from primary school to a Master’s degree. This journey reflects my commitment to learning and the resilience required to overcome adversity.

In my presentation, you can learn some interesting facts about Chinese educational system. As you can see, this is a photo taken during my college years, and you can see Mount Qingcheng in Chengdu, Sichuan in the background.
