The civil rights movement was a long process and racism sadly still exists in our society today. Brown Vs Board of education was a trial that made a big leap for the movement. People like Martin Luther King and the freedom riders made a big impact in our history by standing up for their rights. Unfortunately humans are stubborn and the process of equality has taken much longer than it should have, but it is important to note how the civil rights movement began it all.
