I have had a LinkedIn before hand but it was extremely outdated and I never use it although I do understand how useful of a tool is. I finally stopped putting it off and updated it and set it to public.

I have also had a CV however, haven't needed to use it for around 2 years, since I have had one consistent job, around a month ago I created a new one off that GPT, however still felt that It lacked something, during the careers day I fully updated it, still taking points from the chair gpt cv and have now sent it off to a careers advisor for feedback.

An a exhibition following the history of 'divas', the original on screen actresses and performers that the meaning we now know derived from, and the clothes that they expressed their diva with.

My favourite part of the museum was this miniature evening dress, made of silk jersey from the 1950s. I think that the incredible detail of all the pleats are what really excited me about this garment, Im currently really into layered pleating and I've tried making a few skirts already, which makes me aware of the attention that's needed for such a intricate garment.

My favourite part of the exhibition was this silk dress from Vivienne Westwood in 2012 for opera diva Joyce DiDonato. I loved this dress since, I am a fashion student and Its Vivienne Westwood, and also because I love layered clothing, I love to see the depth of the skirt and how the clothes drape and the contrast between the tight waist and the dramatic bust and hip.

Fashion enter is a UK based, non profit social enterprise. It is a factory that produces clothing for many well known brands, and some high end brands, they also have programmes for educating and provide youth struggling with finding jobs.

The part of this trip that interested my the most was the upstairs area of the factory (which we weren't allowed pictures off), this area was where the clothing for higher end companies were made, loving sewing myself being able to have a sneak peak into these lines was so exciting to me, even the downstairs area, seeing people sew so efficiently was of interest to me.

I wanted my high end comp shop to be a brand that I had a genuine interest in, so I ended up at the base store, I had a good store experience, the staff was helpful, finding the price tags for my comp shop picture was a pain since they insisted on hiding them.

Weekday compshop

My experience at weekday was also good, there wasn't staff as ready to help you, as its a bigger, busier and less high end brand so the customer experience is expected to be a little less in your face, however, when I asked for help with finding a denim jacket staff was very happy to help. I did struggle with finding a denim jacket that would be similar to my bape comp (since I went to the bape store first), I thought it would be something easy too find it wasn't, I ended up with an orang denim jacket since it was all they had.

into detail about all saints
increasingly using 3d

benefits of that when it comes

Dart manipulation

In this task we had to change the location of the fart around the garment and trace the resulting shape.

I really struggled with understanding the work with the darts on Thursday, it took a lot of explaining and more explaining for me to even slightly get to grips with what we are doing, I understand what darts are, their purpose and positioning, my issue was the task and what the purpose was isn’t computing in my brain, I am going to revisit it again this week just so I can be more confident with it.

Our group decided we would approach the group fit project by each taking one garment that had a fit issue, at first I was going to do a skirt, (I ended up doing my jeans and passing the skirt to one of my team members), but before this decision was made I did measure up the skirt according to a size spec that I had to research and find myself as, the canvas page only had specs for shirts and trousers. This Is the spec I used.

I used this website which grades and researches the sustainability and ethics of a brand, although it was good for some basic knowledge, some aspect such as employee treatment, they only had information given by weekday themselves and its therefore, les reliable.
