The warm rays of the sun glimmered through the dusty window bringing a sense of life to the empty room. The beams of sunlight touched the  floor like soft feathers. There was an oak, carved wooden wardrobe standing at the rear of the room. The wardrobe had the presence of a monument. The carvings on the wardrobe appeared to tell a story, about life. The wardrobe blended into the surroundings, adding to its loneliness. The room seemed to be an attic, due to the aspects of the roof. Markings and scratches embedded within the wooden floor panels, spoke of a lively room once known. The room had been silent for years, yearning for motion, voice and activity, although all the room stood for was a sad emptiness.

Its mystery drew me towards it. The floorboards creeked underneath my feet, breaking the deadly silence. As slow as a slug, I walk towards the ancient wardrobe in the middle of the room, that stood proud and as tall as a tree. I peered upwards. Antique carvings blanketed the polished wardrobe. A strong musty pungent smell invaded the air around me. A woody bitter taste hit the back of my tongue. A crooked window was facing the wardrobe, allowing misty beams of sunlight into the room. The natural light, which was very strong, hit the back of my eyes. Thinking the wardrobe was interesting, I attempted to open it. I entered. Standing there was a whole new world ready to be discovered. I took a deep breath and gazed out at an adventure waiting for me...
