It is located in Bisceglie, a town on the Adriatic coast of Italy. Our school has 75 teachers and 750 pupils. It has two musical sections (155 students) where pupils learn to play various instruments: piano, guitar, flute, cello, violin, trumpet, clarinet. The second and third classes of the musical sections form the school orchestra which is composed of more than 110 pupils. They take part in national music competitions every year. It’s a central policy in our school to emphasize the importance of foreign language learning and every year we prepare our pupils for the English Language Certifications. Another core area is the development of ICT skills through the extensive use of Web 2.0 tools in extra-curricular projects with foreign partners.  This is an example of a collaborative work carried out by my Italian students and in collaboration with Greek students in an eTwinning project.
I usually use etwinning projects in my class to motivate and help students learn collaboratively. They are usually divided into international teams and therefore they have to communicate and work with their Italian partners and with foreign partners as well.
